Event Details
One of the best places to learn the techniques of architectural photography is right in the heart of Washington: on Capitol Hill. This photo Safari, led by architectural photograher E. David Luria, begins by focusing on the magnificent architecture of Union Station and the nearby Thurgood Marshall Judiciary Building. We then climb Capitol Hill to photograph the Supreme Court and Library of Congress buildings and end up by capturing the late afternoon sun as it falls on the west face and on the unique statuary in front of the US Capitol building, on the Peace Monument, and the Capitol Reflecting Pool.
